Sheena Anderson - Hip Hop
Sheena was born and raised in the Okanagan and cultivated an appreciation for hip hop and various other street dance styles growing up. Once she moved to Vancouver she was able to rise through the street dance scene and stand out with a unique combination of specialities. She focuses on Waacking, Locking, and Hip Hop, having recently trained internationally and battled against emerging styles. Sheena spent several months in South America adding Latin dance styles to her repertoire. She now incorporates these influences into her extensive street dance portfolio, specifically with footwork in all styles. Her goal is to give back to the community that has supported her in her passion and she hopes to inspire others to reach similar heights. This will be Sheena’s 4th year teaching hip hop at The Dance Matrix.
