The Dance Matrix
Dance Matrix Teachers and Choreographers
Our talented teaching faculty at The Dance Matrix has experience with all ages and levels of dance. They are dedicated to ensuring that all students feel comfortable in their recreational or performing group classes. Several of our teachers are "Triple Threats" - they can teach various genres of dance along with acting and singing.
Lindsey Galaugher - Artistic Director
Lindsey Galaugher has been dancing for as long as she can remember. Lindsey has a background in tap, jazz, ballet, acrobatics and musical theatre. She is a triple threat talent and has won many awards for her dancing and choreography. Lindsey has continued to develop her performing and teaching skills by travelling to New York to study with top performers and choreographers. She is a Simon Fraser University graduate with a major in political science and a history minor. Lindsey is a member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, Stage Division for Tap and Jazz having successfully passed the rigorous examination process. In 2008 and 2009 Lindsey shared her love of tap dancing with many children at the Vancouver Children's Festival through her work with the Vancouver Tap Dance Society. Lindsey always works hard to
ensure every student is comfortable in the class as she introduces the dancer to the joys of dance while enhancing their movement abilities and musicality. Lindsey currently teaches tap, jazz, ballet, acro dance, contemporary and musical theatre/stage to all levels and ages.
