2018 Spring Break Camp
We will be running our annual Spring Break Camp for 2018 March 19th-29th. This will be a 9 day camp due to Friday, March 30th being Good Friday and a statutory holiday. We will post our theme and additional information for this camp in the coming months.
General information on our camps
Our studio runs a variety of different dance camp options that will suit the individual needs of dancers from a beginner to advanced level of dance.
We invite dancers from both our studio and from the general public to take advantage of the great experiences offered by attending one or more of our dance camps.
Our camps are an excellent way to find out if your dancer enjoys the performing arts or for those participants with performing arts experience, these camps provide an excellent environment to further hone their skills and technique.
Our two week Spring Break and Summer Camps offer an excellent alternative to other regular camp environments and provide a safe and healthy environment for your dancer. Our camps (Technical camps excepted) normally run for two weeks, M-F, 9-4pm with before and after care available for a small additional fee. Camps include 15+ hours of dance per week along with a showcase for family and friends at the end of camp. Dance genres include elements of jazz, ballet and acrobatics, sometimes tap and/or hip hop are fused into the sessions. Cost for two week camps is $475.
Annually we offer the following camps:
Spring Break Camp - Two Weeks based on New Westminister School District #40 Calendar
Summer Camps - Two Weeks in each of July and August
Technical Camps - Two x one week (1/2 days) camps - one for junior/intermediate dancers and the other for intermediate/advanced dancers.
For those of you who have enjoyed our camps in the past, you know what a wonderful experience these camps are for the participants. We will have singing, dancing and acting (15+ hours per week) going on throughout the 9 days with costumes, scenery and prop making, trips to the park and a showcase of what the participants have learned on the last day of camp.
Our main instructor for this program is a Canadian Dance Teachers Association member with 18+ years experience in teaching dance to students of all ages (See the faculty page). Our Studio Manager has a teaching degree, first aid and is a 28+ year veteran working with children and youth of all ages.
